70 Years Ago—Aug. 4, 1941: US commits to send arms to USSR. US Far East Air Force (Philippines) activated under Maj. Gen. Lewis Brereton.

  2. Terri - thanks :) That's how I grew to love history too. Ironically, "social studies" was my least favorite subject in school. But I loved historical fiction and biographies - the stories drew me in.
